Dr. Ifueko Alexzandra Eyo-Ita serves as the Chairman of Anthill children’s foundation, dedicating her career to advocating for the welfare and protection of children. With over 10 years of experience as a pediatrician and a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP), Dr. Ifueko has spent her professional life addressing the medical and emotional needs of children, particularly those affected by abuse, neglect, and preventable illnesses.
Her passion for children’s welfare stems from her early experiences as a medical resident, witnessing children succumb to preventable diseases due to a lack of resources. This motivated her to take action, often personally funding treatments for children in emergency units. Dr. Ifueko believes that every child deserves a chance to grow and thrive, regardless of their circumstances at birth.
Her interests extend beyond healthcare to fighting child abuse, child marriages, teen rape, domestic violence, and child labor. She is deeply moved by anything affecting a child’s well-being and works tirelessly to bring about change in these areas.
Under her leadership, the childcare foundation focuses on providing medical care, advocacy, and support to vulnerable children, ensuring they have the opportunity to live healthier and happier lives.
